Funny how the mind works - before I asked I went down a dead end because I had the word 'milkman' stuck in my head (that must just have been because of the milkman in the scene). This also lead me to an association with Danny Kaye (as a milkman in "The Kid From Brooklyn") and Donald O'Connor (in "The Milkman") - of course two completely unrelated films! Of course it is Bobby Van. You've saved me from more fruitless searching and dead ends, thank you once again! | ||

Started going to films with my parents when I was two,..and when growing up..I usually saw 4 movies a week! I especially loved the musicals.
