Hi,

Been asked by a friend about the title of a film which is about an old actrees who employs a writer to write her memoirs and then keeps him there. He's possibly on the run and hiding there. Could be a play!!

Yes, I certainly DO know the film you're looking for.   It's one of my all time favorites.  It's the classic 1950 film , from Paramount Studios,
"SUNSET BLVD.",.....starring Gloria Swanson as the actress....( Gloria  actually Was a great Silent Movie star, and made her"come-back" in this film),...
and William Holden as the writer, who agreed to write a screenplay for her.
