Hello ! I am a lifelong fan of old movies - especially the musicals. I hasten to add that I am 51 so unfortunately I was born too late to be a part of that era but these are my truly favorite types of movies.  Unfortunately, where I live and the few people I know have no clue about these films and as a result I am not able to discuss my favorite films with anyone. Do you know of any venue where I could possibly communicate with fans of these films ?  I watch alot of TCM so no doubt there are other fans of these movies - problem is that I have never had the opportunity to meet them. Thanks.

Hi Mark,

Forgive the delay in getting back to you.  But, I've been trying to locate some fan sites for you.

First of all, let me say that I, too, am a big fan of TCM And the old musicals; I was lucky to be a kid at the time of the great MGM, 20th , and Warners musicals, and never missed one of them.  With my almost complete collection on DVD, VHS and Laserdisc,...I can watch them over again anytime I wish.

I think that probably the one internet site you'll probably be interseted in is the TCM site itself !  If you'll go to : www.tcm.com,    you'll find a wealth of information on every film you
may wish to check on.  But, more important,...at the very top of the page ( just below the
"TCM- Turner Classic Movies" heading),  you'll see "Fan Community".  Aim your mouse to it, and underneath a list of choices pop up,....or you can Click on it, and you'll find numerous groups and members of interest.
