Question
I am looking for a movie that came out most likely in the 60's. It's about a woman who makes make-up or is an actress and gives up her son. She keeps tabs on him and helps him out from time  to time but at the end of the movie she arranges for him to get married on his last day of leave from the service. While they are dancing he reveals he know that she is his mother.

Answer
Hi Kamesha,

Thanks for your question.  I'm pretty sure you're looking for a film that's always been one of my favorites.   Believe it or not,...it wasn't a 60's film,...but came out in the 40's !!   It was a very successful film and, the song composed from the title became a big hit.

It's  the 1946 movie "To Each His Own", starring Olivia de Havilland and  John Lund.   And for a complete story-line , go to :

Click on : "Read Full Synopsis"

Unfortunately, it's not out on DVD.  But if you check " Google', you may find a site that has a private copy for purchase.
HOWEVER,...I see that there IS a copy of the film at   www.amazon.com     on VHS !!!

Sincerely,

Jim K.
