Question
Hi,
How are you?
Where can I get a list of film versions of Dostoevsky's novels and short stories? I'm looking for a film version of the novella THE DOUBLE (Dostoevsky).
Thanks,
Victor

Answer
Hi Victor,

Thanks for your question.  Not too many films based on Dostoevsky's works have been made,...but I have several sources for you to check, which I think you'll like.

First of all, a film of "The Double" IS being planned!  If you will go to the internet site:.... www.Google.com,  and type in "dostoevsky - the double - film", a list of Many articles on it will be listed ( including:
http://blogs.indiewire.com/theplaylist/archives/richard_ayoade_also_working_on_a...)

Also, other films based on his works are discussed at:
http://www.fyodordostoevsky.com/forum/index.php?topic=307.30

And, you can order DVD's or VHS's of several of the films at:  www.Amazon.con  (and type in, under:
Search: Movies and TV,:   fyodor dostoevsky )

I hope this will help you locate the films you're looking for.

Sincerely.

Jim K.
