Question
I am tasked with finding the name of a movie possibly put out in the 30's or 40's. As told to me, a man and woman live in a little house with a white picket fence. He goes off to the big city, possibly for a job interview and something causes him to forget his life. He goes on the live his life in the city until one day he wakes up and remembers that he has a wife and a home.

Answer
Hi Froggy,

Thanks for your question,...and sorry for the delay.  I'm pretty sure that the film you're looking for is MGM's 1942 "tear-jerker". RANDOM HARVEST"....starring Greer Garson and Ronald Coleman. It was a big hit back in the early 40's.

If you go to the Turner Classic Movies site:    http://www.tcm.com/tcmdb/title/2716/Random-Harvest
you can read the complete story-line.  (In the center of the window, it says: "OVERVIEW...Brief Synopsis",......but a little to the right, you'll see : "Read Full Synopsis")
