Answer
Hello Maureen,

The best place to see films from this era is on the Classic Film channels on satellite television. TCM (Turner Classic Movies) would suit you very well as they show all the old MGM and Warner Brothers films. Esther Williams and Jane Powell are on quite a lot.

Another good place to find them is on VHS or DVD. Internet companies like Amazon.com is a good place to look. I've just had a quick look and "Luxury Liner" is there on video.

www.amazon.co.uk

You could also try looking at the ebay site, where you will find of sorts of old films for sale. For all websites, all you have to do is type in a film title in the search box.

www.abay.com
www.ebay.co.uk

Or you could try your local Video Store. If they don't have what you want in stock, they may be able to order it in for you.

Hope that's been of help. Cheers..........Mel.
