Question
I believe this actor's heyday was in the 1960s or 70s.  He always played tough-guy rolls in the military or westerns.  He was tall, had a deep voice, always wore his hair in a kind of flat-top & had high check bones.  I believe he was in The Guns of Navarrone.  I also think he was one of the first actors to be sued for palimony. He starred on TV & in the movies.  Can you help me with his name.  The last name may have been "Martin" or something like that.

Answer
Hello Gloria,

Are you possibly thinking of LEE MARVIN. He was the first actor to be sued for palimony, but he did not appear in "The Guns Of Navarone". You may be thinking of "The Dirty Dozen".

If it's not him, let me know and I'll give it some more thought.

Cheers......Mel.
