Question
I'm trying to locate a movie that brings back fond memories -- "Charley's Aunt."  It included a song I like very much - "Once In Love With Amy."  I'd thought it starred Ray Bolger, but on imdb.com they don't list it as one of his films.  There also seem to be several versions.  Which do you believe to be the definitive version?  What's the best source to purchase classic films?  Thanks for your time!

Answer
Hi, Patricia...

You sort of answered your own question... the movie you remember is not exactly "Charley's Aunt." It is a musical version of the famous play called "Where's Charley?" and it is indeed on imdb.com on Bolger's bio... it's a wonderful film, one Bolger had started on Broadway and followed to Hollywood...

If I had to pick a film version for pure enjoyment, it would be this one... hands down...

Thanks, and keep it "reel,"
