Question
Hey Tony
OK Citizen Cane is suppose to be one of the best movies ever. But what was the meaning behind rosebud? Why did they show that sled with rosebud at the end? I just didnt get it.

Answer
Ron,

I don't know if you're kidding me or not with this, so I'll play it straight with you.... The sled represented Kane's childhood... all Kane ever wanted was to be happy, and the only tie he was indeed happy was when he was a child, sledding in the snow...

Hope this helps...
