You'll have to forgive my lack of details... but I'm trying to recall the name of a movie I watched in a film class I took in college. It's black and white a horror/psychological thriller. I think it's film noir. There's a children's song sung in parts of the movie which makes it very creepy. The movie is about a serial killer.

A little help here... was the film in English, or was it subtitled? Asking because you are describing "M," one of the best of the early German films made by Fritz Lang...

Is there anything else you can tell me? A guess as to when it was made? Stars, or where you may have seen them since?
