Question
A long, long time ago I remember seeing a movie (old then) about Lou Gehrig.  I think Burt Lancaster played the part but I'm not positive.  I'd like to know the name of it so I can search for it, because I'd like to see it again.  Can you help me?

Answer
Hello Candy,

The film you are thinking of is "The Pride Of The Yankees" (1942), which starred Gary Cooper in the role of Lou Gehrig. This film is readily available on both VHS and DVD.

There was also a TV movie made in 1978 called " A Love Affair: The Eleanor and Lou Gehrig Story". This starred Edward Herrman as Gehrig and Blythe Danner as his wife, Eleanor. This has also been available on VHS.

Glad to be of help. Cheers.......Mel.
