I saw an old film on tv 40 odd years ago, basically hunters in africa are caught by natives and some are killed a couple of the guys are let loose and are chase through the jungle, one escapes   Any ideas on a name?

That sounds very much like a film called "The Naked Prey" (except that it was in colour) that came out in 1966.

Filmed in Africa, it starred Cornel Wilde and Gert Van Den Bergh as two of a party of men on safari, who fall foul of a local tribe. One-by-one they are slaughtered until just one is left.

He is set loose, naked and weaponless with armed tribesmen hot on his heels, beginning a life-or-death hunt through the wild African terrain.
