Question
   I am after the name of an old movie. Don't know the stars or anything other than the final scenes.  A mother and daughter are the key characters. The mother is young looking and the two are often confused for each other.  
   There was something about the daughters boyfriend and the three have a fight in a house on a hill. The daughter drives off and the mother follows. The daughter dies but the mother takes on her life and gets everyone to
   believe the mother was the one who died.  I only ever saw the last half hour or so, and yet the movie has haunted me for over 30 years. I would love to know the title and the name of the actress.
