Question
There's an old movie that keeps popping into my head ... but I can't remember the title...
A young woman invites a young man to move in to her home and then tells him that he can only stay for a specific time period. He falls in love with her and argues that he wants to stay..
In the end, he discovers that she has a terminal illness and is allowing men in to her life for a short time to give them love and happiness but pushes them out when their time with her is over... I believe that it takes place in NYC...

Answer
Hello Shelley,

"Sara... She had to be remembered by every man she met. So she divided the calendar into twelve men and gave each a month and a key to her apartment. Charlie's month was November because he belonged to Sara as no one ever would again."

This film is called "Sweet November". It was first made in 1968, starring Sandy Dennis and Anthony Newley.

It was re-made in 2001 with Charlize Theron and Keanu Reeves in the starring roles.

Glad to be of help. Cheers.......Mel.
