Question
What is the name of the movie with a young girl (maybe Syd Charisse?) who befriends a puppet and the puppet master falls in love with her.  There is a song she sings with the puppet that goes "Hi Lilly,
Hi Lilly, hi lo, Hi lo" I think it may take place in Paris.
I am a huge old movie fan and am usually good with remembering the names of the movies I like.  I can't seem to remember this one!

You were close enough to it for it to have bitten you... the film is called "Lili." It starred a very young Leslie Caron, and she did, indeed, sing with the puppets. Lili is adopted by some circus people when she finds herself stranded in a small town. It took place in France.
