Do you know the movie staring two male actors who were friends and one become a Mountie who had to hunt down his friend for suspicion of murder.

Answer
I believe you're thinking of North West Mounted Police (1940).   The two men are Gary Cooper and Robert Preston, although I don't think they were friends from the beginning, but instead Preston in the brother of Cooper's girlfriend.  It's available here on DVD-R:  http://www.freemoviesondvd.com/#nodescriptions
