Expert: Brad Lang - 10/5/2006

I am tring to find the title of a movie I saw when I was really young. It has been about 16 years ago now, and I believe the movie was older when I first watched it. It was about an older man that befriends a little person (male little person, and I dont think that they were leprechauns). The older man may or may not have had a grandson in the movie. In one scene that I remember for sure they where in a forest (possibly a redwood forest) and they find another group of little people (all or mostly female and a father). The female little people (about 12 of them) are chasing the male little person and the basically the one that chases him get to be with him. He saw one female that he liked but she was quite and/or weaker than the other women and kept getting pushed aside by the other women during the chase. In the end they get together. That is all that I remember for sure, if you could help me remember the title of the movie it would be great.
