hi there,
for a documentary on Wine, I'm looking to identify scenes in films from the 1970s and earlier that show what a snobby thing wine appreciation was. The more schlocky the film, the better. Do you know of any good scenes with wine snobs?

I think the best way to approach this question is for you to look at some public domain movie sites etc

http://www.archive.org/details/movies   <<<<<   go to this site and do a search for 'wine' and there are many short films about wine ... most of them snobby imho  he hehe

There are more p/domain sites available by google searching but archive.org has many doco's etc

They are all available for download FREE in a variety of fomats  :]
