Question
In Halliwell's Filmgoes's Companion 6th edition, he didicates the book to a list of "reprehensible characters" he's met in a lifetime of filmgoing.  Some I know.  Many I can't place.  Do you know who these characters are?: Ballin Mundson, Alexander Hollenius, Jack Favell, Tony Camonte, Louis Mazzini, Sir Humphrey Pengallan, Cesare Bandello, The Marquis of Rohan,  Saul Femm, Rocky Sullivan, Louis Renault, Sidney Kidd, Giles Conover, Chevalier del Gardo, and Heinrich Stubel.  Thanks.

Answer
Hello Diana,

Yes, they are all characters from different films......

Ballin Mundson "Gilda (1946)
Alexander Hollenius "Deception" (1946)
Jack Favell "Rebecca" (1940)
Tony Camonte "Scarface" (1932)
Louis Mazzini "Kind Hearts and Coronets" (1949)
Sir Humphrey Pengallan "Jamaica Inn" (1939)
Cesare Bandello "Little Caesar" (1931)
The Marquis of Rohan "The Man in Grey" (1943)
Saul Femm "The Old Dark House" (1932)
Rocky Sullivan "Angels With Dirty Faces" (1938)
Louis Renault "Casablanca" (1942)
Sidney Kidd "The Philadelphia Story" (1940)
Giles Conover "The Pearl of Death" (1944)
Chevalier del Gardo "The Face At The Window" (1939)
Heinrich Stubel "A Night in Casablanca" (1946)

They are all quite easy to find by just typing each name into the search window of your computer and Googling for them.

Glad to be of help. Cheers........Mel.
