I don't know if you would be able to help me, but there's a movie that I saw over a year ago and I cannot come up with the title for anything. It's a french movie, I watched it subtitled into English. I think it's an older movie, it was in black and white. I didn't see the whole thing, but what I remember is that the main character is a poor artist. In the end, the woman he was in love with is terribly sick. She's admitted into the hospital. The very last scene is her requesting flowers (or she previosly requested flowers in the movie) and he leaves. Then you see him come back into the room with a bunch of flowers in his hand, and she is dead, so she never got her flowers. He says nothing, but walks out the door with the flowers in his hand.

If you could possably identify this movie for me I would be very thankful, if not, thank you for taking the time to read my request

Thanks for asking me, but unfortunately that does not sound familiar at all. I'm not an expert on non-English-language films, so that's not surprising.
