I am looking for an old black and white movie that has a man who gets magic trousers. They always have money in the pockets. I think his wife tries to burn them. I was very young and the film was old then.

Hello Mick,

It's very difficult when you don't give any indication as to what time period we are looking for. I really have no idea of when you were "very young". But I've done my best with this one and the only thing I can come up with is a film called "The Triangle" from 1953. This was in fact three spisodes of the TV series "Douglas Fairbanks Presents" put together for cinema release.

The third story of the three was entitled "Priceless Pocket", featured James Hayter and Wilfred Hyde-White, and concerned a poor Glaswegian man who discovers that his trouser pocket produces an endless supply of pound notes. A situation about which the Government do not approve.

Does that sound like it could be the one?
