Hello I am wondering if you know of a movie where an old lady kills her maids for their money.  I think it stars Betty Davis but I am not for sure.  It seems to me in the movie she lives out in the desert and evertime she kills a maid she has her gardener dig a big hole and then she buries her maid in the hole with a new pine tree.

Sorry it's taken so long to get back to you, but I'm nto finding anything on this movie anywhere... thing is, though, it sounds SOOO familiar, it's driving me crazy.... can you remember anything else about it? When it was made, color or b&w, any other actors in the movie? Let me know... I'll keep looking....
