I used to watch a film when I was younger but I cant for the life of me remember what it was called.  I wander if you could help me?
It is about a black lady who works as a servant for a white family.  They become close.  Also the balck lady has a daughter who wants to be part of the white family she does not like the colour she is and  therefore hates her mother for this .  Later in the film the black lady dies and then the black girl feels guilty.  I cannot remember what year this film is from but I do know that it was in  colour I wander if you could hhelp me please and I would be very greatfull.

I think the film you're referring to is "Imitation of Life," probably the 1959 version, starring Lana Turner and Juanita Moore. (There was also a version made in 1934.) You can find more information about it here:
