Question
QUESTION: Looking for the movie Death Comes Home for the Holidays... about some sisters... they all get together... they start getting killed off  then the youngest sister goes up stairs at the end and meets her "father">? Ever heard of it or know where i can get it?

ANSWER: Hello Shari,
I'm afraid that this film does not sound familiar. Not being a big horror fan myself, I looked both on imdb.com and google.com and was unable to find any movie with this title. Are you sure that this is the correct title? If yes, can you remember anyone who was in the film, whether it's black and white or color, was it "made for TV" etc...I'd be more than happy to research this a little more if you can think of any further details.
Regards,

QUESTION: ok... out in the seventies... was on tv... pretty sure of the title... the older sister seemed really older she was in a lot of movies... wretched....these sisters come home for Christmas ... Thanksgiving.... it turns sort of devilish.... the youngest sister keeps noticing strange things  at the end she is running hiding etc... then she is to go up this huge stairwell and she is crying and she enters a room and there is a throne with Satan sitting on it and she is his daughter... lol.... it scared the bagibbies out of me and my sister and was wanting to find a copy for remeninces sake.  Thanks for trying ...Shari let me know if you find out any thing else... Oh... the youngest sister.... looked like Kate Jackson with a rounder face... the older sister was a working actress she always wore her hair pulled back or up that old seventies style a light brown.  i thought it was in color but the main scenes i remember were without...so not really sure.  thanks and keep me posted.

Answer
Good Day, Shari!
I think that you're looking for "The Devil's Daughter" (1973) Starring Shelley Winters (The older, working actress?)  If you Google  "Film + 70's + devil's daughter" it should immediately bring this up in response to your query. It is ALWAYS possible that it was called "Death Comes Home For The Holidays" originally but the title was changed later. This often happens.
Besides the title conflict, from what you've told me, it sounds as if this is what you're looking for and, good news, if this is it,  it is available on DVD.
PLEASE let me know if this is right! I am dying to find the answer and I think that I have! (Yay me! J/K LOL)
Cheers!

I can answer almost any question relating to any of the Marx Brothers or their films. Their personal lives were, I believe, twice as interesting as their professional personas.

Experience

I have read many books on the subject including the memoirs of the two most famous Marx Brothers, Groucho and Harpo as well as "Growing up with Chico" the only book written expressly about Chico Marx. Also, I have done exstensive research on all of the brothers, my senior paper being on the subject of their lives.
