Question
Hi!
many years ago I saw a movie on TV, but don't know the title, and have been looking for it ever since.
The plot had to do something with king Henry (or some other english king?)I don"t really remember. What I'm sure of are the actors.Kathrin Herborn was the Queen, a really young Anthony Hopkins the prince and also a really really young Timothy Dalton...starring as ...I don't remember. The king could have been Maximilian Sell. And judging from their ages, the moovie must have been made about late 60s or early 70s.Well, if it all rings a beell....If not, thanks for taking the time to read this!

Answer
Hello Pan,

Yes, that film was called "THE LION IN WINTER", and you are absolutely correct about Katharine Hepburn, Anthony Hopkins and Timothy Dalton. But the King, Henry II, was played by Peter O'Toole. The year was 1968.
