Expert: Braindump ! - 10/5/2006

hi.
i have been asking everyone on here what the name of this movie is. noone has helped me yet. Popcorn guy is getting right into this, but maybe you can help too. your into old horror so this might be a good challege for you too. here is everything i have told popcorn guy. lets see what you think...
"It's so hard to remember, because i was so young when i saw it. I know i was only like 3 or 4 years old when i saw this movie so i only
remember bits and pieces of it. which means i saw the movie in 1977 or 1978. the part of the movie that sticks out the most to me was when this girl
with long blonde 70's hair was at this beach area and she went into this building that was all opened up inside with 2 levels and all these
doorways with no dooors. and all these like waist high dolls i believe they were girl dolls and boy dolls were comming out of these doorways.
then they started moving thier mouths up and down and they started comming towards the girl and the ones on the top floor were comming down the
stairs and then they would start biting the girl killing her. thats really all i can remember. and like i said everyone i talk to remembers
the movie but noone knows the name. my mother used to tease me about the movie. but she cant remember the movie either. then i thaught mabe it
was like a twighlight or creepshow episode. i dont know, but i will not give up until i find out the name of this movie! This has been quite
the challenge. if your up for a challenge you can help me out. thanks!

Question -
when i was a kid i remember watching a movie about these killer dolls. they were about waist high and their mouths moved up and down. all i
remember is all these dolls would come out of these doorways and come after people. i was always scared of this movie, and recently i wanted to see if i could find it to watch it to see how scary it really is. anyway i've ask a ton of people and everyone i ask remembers the movie but not the name of it. can you please help me? i think it came out sometime in the 60's or 70's. i remember watching it in the 70's."

I know what ya mean .... the movie sounds familiar :]

The only one from the seventies that I can think of is :

'Tourist Trap' 1979

'Muñecos infernales' 1961  ( AKA : Devil Doll Men (USA) & The Curse of the Doll People (USA) (TV title) )

It is too old to be the movie you mention but is a great old 'schlocky' movie nontheless, but I digress  .... :]
