Question
Hi there,

I was wondering if you could help me please?

Do you know if these three greats ever played all together?

Your expert help will be very greatly appreciated!

Claire

Answer
Hello,
I have done research and can find no evidence of these guys playing together.  Don't have a ton of info on Tony Mann, but Chet was a cool jazz player and Sonny was a bop player for the most part.  Chet was known mostly for playing with bari sax player, Gerry Mulligan who was also a cool jazz/west coast jazz player.  I wish I had more concrete info, but it doesn't appear that these greats ever shared a stage or a recording session.  I hope this helps.

Thanks,

Guy
