Classic Rock/Album Art who's the band

Question
QUESTION: Hi,
I remember my older brother had an album where the cover art had a "planet" on it with these little creatures on the planet.  the creatures that were crawling up a volcano (maybe?).  It was colored pretty much in shades of brown - not colorful like Yes albums.  I've been wracking my brain and the internet to find the band. Had to be late 60's or very early 70's

ANSWER:   Are you sure the little "creatures" aren't kids?   Led Zeppelin has an album called "Houses Of The Holy".  The sky part of the album is, I think kind of pink.   The lower part shows kids climbing on what looks like a barren  mountainside.
If that is not it , please let me know and I will wrack my brain for another possibility.

---------- FOLLOW-UP ----------

QUESTION: No I'm familiar with that Album but that helps my memory process. - think smaller size "people/creatures" and think less polular band - like savoy brown (not them), the entire face of the planet was on the cover - so a circle (i think?) the back cover had a "large drawing" of one of the creatures.
maybe this was just a bad trip.  I'll call my brother later but my bet is he doesn't remember - If I find out I'll let you know - some other albums in his collection at that time - Grand Funk (the 1st album red), ten years after(shhhhh), the crazy world of authur brown (fire), Iron butterfly, black sabbath (masters of reality). come to think of it quite the early metal collection. -

Answer
I am determined to figure this out.
I am sure you don't mean "Fragile" by Yes.

If you can give me more info, such as is it a photograph or a drawing or a combination of the two,  does it look realistic or is it more abstract?
What colors do you remember?   Did the creatures on it look somewhat human or more like the stereotypical little green men aliens?
Any details you remember could jog my memory.

Also, was there any lettering such as the bands name or album title on the cover?

I can answer general questions about rock era bands, record labels they were on, and names of songs. Often I can tell the name of the record company that released a song, as well as the name of the song, and the year of release based on some of the lyrics. I grew up during the rock era and I am a musician myself, and always read the album and 45 info for production credits as well as lineups. One of the chat rooms I go to is quite amused at my ability to name a song along with it`s year of release and record label. I was also a record collector for years.
