Classic Rock/looking for a song tiltle

Question
Hello- Im looking for a song title.  I believe the song is from the 70's or 80's and starts out with a car chase, screeching tires, police sirens, a car accident and gunshots, follows by a desperate dialogue between a man and woman (kind of like an old detective movie).

thanks in advance

Answer
Hi,
The dialogue part throws me, so I'm not sure if I'm right or wrong.  Here are two possibilities:

"Lunatic Fringe" by Red Rider.  It starts with European siren and a crash.  No dialogue between a man and a woman, just a guy talking about how he "knows you're out there" and can find you.  Kinda creepy.

"The Metro" by Berlin.  This also has a European siren, but made with the keyboards, and does involve desperate lyrics from a woman to a man.

The only other thing I can offer you is "Leader of the Pack", by the Shangrilas, but it is a '60s Stax/Volt (like Motown) song, which starts with a Harley revving up, has a crash, etc., but again is the mournful-toned second-person tale of a girl who lost her "bad-boy" boyfriend.

But I'm shooting in the dark here.  Sorry.

Expertise

I can answer quite a few questions on early US R & B, as well as psychedelic folk and rock and late '60s hard R & B and (what would become known as "heavy metal"). I can answer most questions about band line-ups and band record labels from the 1970s. From 1981 to 1990, I was heavily involved in the alternative radio and punk rock scenes and can identify bands with cities (called "scenes") and record labels.

Experience

My brother was an avid album-oriented rock fan in the mid to late '70s and early '80s, and I idolized him and his vast 8-track collection of bands like Sweet, Boston, Styx, Queen, Foghat, and Nazareth.
Later, I got into punk rock, especially hardcore, and worked at a college radio station doing punk rock and psychedelic radio shows from 1984-1989.
