Question
Well its not an ancient song,but its from the seventies or early eighties.It sounded alot like the band Kansas,and definately had their guitar sound.The lyrics that I remember were "last chance to believe in yourself",are you familiar with that one?I know I havent given you much to go on.It was very popular on rock radio.
I think that was the song "Last Chance" by the group "Shooting Star". It had some popularity around 1980. Pretty sure I recall the lyrics you cited in that track. Try downloading a sample clip somewhere and find out for sure! Think I'm right though.
