Question
I work for a book publishing company and would like to get in touch with
Pete Townshend to ask if he'd consider contributing to a book we are doing.  
Do you have any contact details for his current management/agent? Thanks.

  Although I am an active musician, I am completely independant and have no contacts in any part of the corporate music industry.
  My suggestion would be to go to Mr Townsends web site ( last I heard  he has a web site that he is quite active with) and send him an email at any contact info provided there.  In the absence of contact info if he has an active board there you could try posting a message to him on the board using a temporary email address.  
 I have had contact over the net with popular artists in the past, having gotten response from them by writing to their web site contact info.  Normally I am asking them a technical question about something involving music (rather than just fan mail),  so I tend to get responses.
