Classic Rock - Need help with name or artist of song
Expert: Skeeter - 10/13/2009
Question I've been trying to find out the name of a song that I heard on the radio recently, but haven't been able to find any information about it. The song sounds like a folk rock ballad and the chorus starts out "Baaaa-by, you are the moon and the sun, the stars in the sky, and everything there in between. The chorus is followed by long measures of either "Bah, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, bah, da, da, da, da, da, da, da da" or "Fa, la, la, etc." if you get my point. I've sang what I know of it to a lot of different people, whom all seem to recognize the song melody, but none of them can tell me the song name or the name of the performing artist.
I'm hoping you can help me, 'cuz it's driving me crazy! Thanks.
Answer I am sorry for the delay, I am not on the net much anymore.
I do not recognize those lyrics, is it possible you misheard them?
If so, the only song that comes to mind is "Baby, Now that I've Found You" by the Foundations.
I wish I could give you a better answer, but this is all I can think of.
