Classic Rock/Supertramp DJ single "Give A Little Bit"

Question
I would like to obtain a copy of the Supertramp single, specifically the DJ
version, of
"Give A Little Bit."  I am a college instructor in Advanced Audio Production.
Additionally, I am the recording engineer who mixed the radio single for A&M
Records
and the album title, as well.

The reason I'm searching for this vinyl 45 rpm record is that I would like to be
able to
demonstrate the differences involved in mixing a record for radio play as
opposed to a
mix made for consumer home/car/etc. playback.

The most accurate way to determine whether or not one is dealing with the
record I'm
looking for is that  the album single is 4:08, the (edited) Dj single is shorter
(3:52?).

All of this said, can you help me locate a source for the DJ version single of
"Give A
Little Bit"?

Thanks very, very much,
Tom (TA) Anderson

Answer
Your best bet to obtain the record is on ebay. Even if i did have it and made you a copy it would be illegal and against RIAA rules. Good luck.

To narrow your search you will want to search for it on a 45 rpm record and it will most likely be a white labeled Promo record a DJ type of copy. I would imagine one would turn up and be fairly inexpensive
