Classic Rock/Identifying a song

Question
Hi,

This is probably the dumbest question you'll get today (because I can provide so little information). But it's worth a shot.

A tune has been driving me nuts. The only identifying characteristic is that the song was sung by two guys with very high voices. Probably late '70s or '80s. It is a love song with lyrics like, I think, "that's all I need to know. I thought it might be by the group Nelson (Rick Nelson's kid's), but I haven't been able to identify it that way.

Anyway, the key feature is the very high voices.

Many thanks for trying,

Steve

Answer
Hi Steve ... not a dumb question by a long shot (I've been asked to identify a song and the only lyric the person remembers is "love" .. yes, not too many song have that word in it).

HOWEVER ... it is pretty hard to narrow it down without even kowing an era, song style or where the song originated (British Invasion, etc ... ).  Come to think of it, even if you gave that info I would still be hard pressed to come up with a song title.

Sorry!

Having grown up during the 70`s, I have a great appreciation for what I consider to be the best music ever recorded. My favourite group from that era is The Eagles and I believe that the summer of 1976 was the best summer for music releases! Ask me anything about any top 40 group from the mid 70`s to the mid 80`s and I am to say with most certainty, that I will be able to provide you with an answer!
