The song 'Morning Girl' was recorded by the Neon Philharmonica.  Sometime before 1972 a male singer resleased the same song on a 45.  I am looking for this version to add to my playlist, but do not rember the name of the singer/band who did it.  I know it was before '72 because that is when I went to Nam and I had it before then.  Hope you can help.  Thanx.

Might you be thinking about the version of "Morning Girl" recorded by The Lettermen?  It was released in 1971, which would fit in with your pre-1972 scenario.  There are a couple posts on youtube for the Lettermen version of the song, in case you'd like to check into it.  The link to one of them is below.  Hope it helps in your search!
