Classic Rock/Tough one

Question
For years, I've been trying to find out the name of a song and of the band that plays it; it's a song that I've heard three or four times, maximum, in my life, and the only word I know in the lyrics is "circus" in the end of a sentence. Anyway, it goes something like this: the first part sounds british medieval, with a voice telling a story in a rather childish pitch. Then the band makes a long "oooooh", a distorted guitar intervenes, and there's the second part, where there's that sentence with "circus" in it. They repeat that a few times. Tough, isn't it? Anybody knows?

Answer
WOW ... you ain't kidding that it's rather hard.  I have had my bots trying to search, but they keep saying that there is not enough information.

Can you give me the approx year of release, nationality of band (British, American, Canadian, Austrailian ....).  Anything more will help.

Thanks!

Having grown up during the 70`s, I have a great appreciation for what I consider to be the best music ever recorded. My favourite group from that era is The Eagles and I believe that the summer of 1976 was the best summer for music releases! Ask me anything about any top 40 group from the mid 70`s to the mid 80`s and I am to say with most certainty, that I will be able to provide you with an answer!
