Classic Rock/70's rock song

Eureka!  This song has a name as does the group that performed it.

the song is called:  RUN, RUN, RUN

the group is called:  Jo Jo Gunne

until today (April 24)  I had never heard of this group, though I've had this song running through my head since the 70's. I never knew what it was called, or the name of the group. I also thought that the lyrics was "ride, ride, ride".  That explains why Google yielded no results. I decided to call a local (Houston) classic rock station this morning and spoke to an intern who referred me to the DJ's (DEAN & ROG). I felt like an idiot going "OOH OOH OOH OOH, OOH OOH OOH OOH" into the phone, but was well rewarded.

Every thing this person has said about trying to get a song title for run run run I experienced too. Ringing the radio station was going to be my next port of call It's taken me nine weeks to find out the title I also thought it was "Ride" which explains why I never got any where So a big thank you so much for putting my brain at ease.

My sister had this album when I was a kid. It opened up and I loved looking at it. The artwork and photographs were really happy & psychedelic. Seems like there were a lot of butterflies.

Questions I can answer are matching song lyrics with only part of a line from a song, with the artist or band.

I became a teenager in 1970,played those CCR 45's over and over and over until I knew all the words. If you could understand what John Fogarty was saying, everyone else was easy. For difficult song lyrics, I'd buy those music mags like Tiger Beat or just buy the albums-most had lyrics on the LP sleeve inside. I am a specialist when it comes to Southern Rock lyrics. I've even seen a few Southern Rock song lyrics asked about on this site, that none of the experts knew. That's one reason I applied to be an expert in this category . The other thing is, people need to know the correct lyric and artist to enable them to enjoy the music, right?

Lots of 70's concerts, and stacks of 33 records, enough to start my own flea market or record store. Too bad no one has anything to play them on anymore.
