Hy, out of curiosity, how did (does) Peter Frampton get that voice out of singing through what appears to be a garden hose?   Thank you for your time, Josiah

That piece of equipment is called a "talk box", it's basically a tube attached to the amp/drivers that allows vocal inflections to shape whatever notes are being played on the guitar.  You can learn more about it at
