Question
this song was played on classic rock stations in the late 80's but it was pretty new then. i think the name of it is " can we meet on common ground" but i'm not sure and i don't remember the band's name . PLEASE HELP! lol

Hi there!  Well, you certainly did not give me much to work worth here.  The only solid lead you gave me was that it was played in the late 80's.  Well .... this is what I have found and i am not sure if any of them are correct as I didn't have much to go on:

Midnight Oil    (there must be some common ground)
Glen Frey       (We all stand on common ground)
Neil Diamond    (Got to walk on common ground)

Having grown up during the 70`s, I have a great appreciation for what I consider to be the best music ever recorded. My favourite group from that era is The Eagles and I believe that the summer of 1976 was the best summer for music releases!
