I only know a few of the words I hope it is enogh. What I remember goes: I want you to want me,  I need you tou need me, I'd love you to love me.  Thats all I know. Can you help me PLEASE!!!!

Answer
YEP!  I know it right off the top of my head.  It is called (believe it or not)  I want you to want me,  and Cheap Trick did it on their Live In Buddakon album.
They also have a studio version of it if I am not mistaken, but the live version is the one that got the most air play.
There are two Live Buddakon albums,  the second one is called Buddakon II I think,  it isn't the one you want.

It is a great album also,  so don't be bashful about finding a copy of it just for that song, if you like that song you will probably like the rest of it.

Also,  you know the TV Show THAT 70s SHOW?   Cheap Trick did the original version of the theme song to that show.

I can answer general questions about rock era bands, record labels they were on, and names of songs. Often I can tell the name of the record company that released a song, as well as the name of the song, and the year of release based on some of the lyrics. I grew up during the rock era and I am a musician myself, and always read the album and 45 info for production credits as well as lineups. One of the chat rooms I go to is quite amused at my ability to name a song along with it`s year of release and record label. I was also a record collector for years.
