Question
I heard this song a on the radio the other day, but i was on the phone and i couldnt remember any of the lyrics...it starts out with a acoustic guitar.." a cool little acoustic riff", then a lead electric comes in with some lead solo feels...then the song kicks up a little...i know its a pretty popular song and it sound something like guns n roses would play, but then again it had like a posion feel to it...and dude i can not remember any of the lyrics...but iv been tryin to find it, so if you have any idea let me know...i'll look them up and at least see if the lyrics sound about right...THANKS MAN..LATER

    It would be very hard to tell you what song it is based on that information.   There are a lot of songs that fit your description.  
  I don't know a lot about 80s and 90s music ( although I know some) ,  most of my knowlege is about rock era music.  I can't say I know much about Guns N Roses or Poison.  
 If you can think of some of the lyrics that might give me something to work with.

I can answer general questions about rock era bands, record labels they were on, and names of songs. Often I can tell the name of the record company that released a song, as well as the name of the song, and the year of release based on some of the lyrics. I grew up during the rock era and I am a musician myself, and always read the album and 45 info for production credits as well as lineups. One of the chat rooms I go to is quite amused at my ability to name a song along with it`s year of release and record label. I was also a record collector for years.
