Question
Dear Expert Wickens,
I've heard this song a few times, but I can't figure out the name nor Artist!  I do know that it has a repetitive guitar riff that is catchy..The guitar is a twangy/"surfer" tune...example: the guitar riffs like in the pulp fiction sound track.  Any ideas?

Answer
Well Mr Orlinger..... look at most any song by The Beach Boys, The Ventures or The Safari's (just to name of few) and I am sure you will find numerous songs with a catchy repetitive guitar riff (The Beach Boys "Barbara Ann" or The Venture's "Wipeout" are two that pop out at me without even thinking).

Can you provide any other information?  Were there lyrics with the song and if so, what were they?

It is very hard to locate a song with the information you have provided.  There are just too many possibilities.

Please advise if you can provide any more info.

I look forward to being able to help you soon!

Thanks

Classic Rock

Having grown up during the 70`s, I have a great appreciation for what I consider to be the best music ever recorded. My favourite group from that era is The Eagles and I believe that the summer of 1976 was the best summer for music releases! Ask me anything about any top 40 group from the mid 70`s to the mid 80`s and I am to say with most certainty, that I will be able to provide you with an answer!
