Classic Rock/Can't find artist or song title of popular song

QuestionI'm trying to find a song, i do not know the name or artist. It's a rock/pop song with a little guitar. The music to the song pretty much stays the same through the whole song and changes a little for the chorus. It definitely contains the lyrics in the chorus "fall in love". Someone said they thought the chorus went: "Don't fall in love". They also could recall "she's in love with you" somewhere in the verses. It sounds like a 70's or 80's rock/pop song, more 70’s, possibly a touch country and it gets played on well known radio stations a lot. Pretty certain it is a female singer. The verse I’m not too sure what the words are but the song goes something like:
Long hair, short skirt, and blue eyes.
She feels like making love to you...............
and is she good to you.
is she good to you.
(then there is a little guitar lick to lead up to the chorus, it is only about three strokes, like: dow, dow, dow)
(chorus) aaaaaaahhhh-ah (band sings that bit) (i think the music pauses at this point also, woman sings) don’t fall in love (music picks up again)
feel like making love tonight.
am sure i've seen your face tonight.
(little guitar lick)
(chorus) aaaaaaahhhhhhhh- ah (music pauses) fall in love (music plays again)
Towards the end of the song the woman follows on with a verse straight after the line in the chorus and it sounds something like: long hair, short skirt and blue eyes
I've looked everywhere on the net amongst lyric sites and song sites and i can't find it. This has been the most hardest song to find by far, usually i find a song within the hour without knowing the artist and song title. This has taken days. What makes it hard is that the only lyrics i can remember for sure are "fall in love" or possibly "don't fall in love" and these lyrics are very common in many songs. If you know the song i may be talking about and can provide any more detail about the song or suggest good net sites or other ways to find it it'd be much appreciated. Thanks very much for your reply! : )
AnswerI'll be honest, this one is pretty hard to figure out. I have only one guess, so I'm probably not much help here. Since lyrics can be often grossly misheard, I'm going with an early 80s single "Don't Fall In Love With a Dreamer" by Kenny Rogers with Kim Carnes. Kim chips in some vocals (which corroborates your description of a woman singing as well) and it also is the right time period and style. Otherwise, I am partially stumped.
