Question
There was a song in the 60's or 70's that started out "Some girls like to run
around (dating?) every single guy in town" and goes on with "my girl (doesn't?
) run around.... cause she only wants to be with me," sung by a guy or male
band about how his girl won't run around.  I can't remember the title or the
singer(s) and can't find anything on the internet or iTunes when I type in the
fragments of lyrics that I remember.  So of course it's driving me crazy now.  
Any ideas?  I am pretty sure the singer(s) are American or British, but I've
checked the most likely ones and don't find any songs that seem to match.  
Thanks for any help you can provide!

WOW - only a few songs in that era touched on that topic (lol).

The only thing that I could come close to was by The Boppers in 1967:
