QuestionCould you please tell me what a regular practice should consist of? &
how to raise voice ..because I find a bit strain and my voice seems as if I am shouting..
AnswerHi,
It would be irresponsible to give advice about this kind of thing over the web. You can damage your voice by practicing incorrectly. And what is good for one person at one stage of development might be terrible for a person at a different stage.
You need to find a good voice teacher and listen to him/her. If you have a voice teacher now, you should ask him/her to spend a lesson going over the way you should practice. Then take the advice.
If you are convinced that your teacher is not helping you, find a different teacher. Not all teachers are good for all people. I'm guessing, though, that two or three teachers would probably all tell you the same thing.
Studying voice is a life-long pursuit. If you practice correctly and diligently, working with good teachers, you can make good progress. No one ever outgrows the need for a teacher. Voices change constantly as we age and develop. Even highly experienced singers seek out teachers.
Good luck.
