Question I was wondering if you were able to help me identify a song that my daughter is performing a ballet dance to. we only have a badly recorded tape version of it and would like to identify it to get a better version of it.
Answer Sorry Jason, I do not know the piece (I'm mainly 20thC onwards). Sounds quite Russian, possibly Tchaikovsky but there's a certain type of lightness that makes me think otherwise. Not later than romantic certainly and definitely European (to the east too I would say).
