Classical Music/Classical Piano Piece

Question
Hello :)

I recently saw a film called "Le Silence de Lorna" (Lorna's Silence) and there was a beautiful piece of piano music played over the credits and I have been struggling to find the name of it.  The piece is in this trailer:

It starts around 27 seconds in.

If you could have a listen and let me know if you recognise it I would be extremely grateful!

Thanks

Caitlin

Answer
Hi,

That's Bsethoven's Piano Sonata, Op. 111. That's his last sonata, so number 32. Op. 111 has only two movements.  This is the second movement. It is the way the movement opens and closes. In between, there are variations. It is a pretty astounding piece. I hope you get a chance to hear the whole thing.
