No, I don't know this piece.  I have a friend who might know the answer.  I'll contact him.

Later:  My friend does not know the name of this piece, either.  The likelihood is that it is music from somewhere in the Wagner "Ring" cycle.  I'm sorry that I can't do any better than this.  Perhaps there is an Expert in opera/vocal music who could help you.

update, Mar. 2:  My buddy thinks the second one is not Wagner.  Perhaps Bruckner.  He has called in a buddy of his, and they are continuing to work your problem.

Students, I do NOT do homework questions. The purpose of answering questions on assignments is not only to learn the information, but to LEARN HOW TO FIND IT. Re-read chapter. Look in the index.
