Schubert has a piece that returns to a repetitive "phrase" which is upbeat , is best i can describe it.   I have heard a number of times but my "halfheimers" wont let me recall the name of the piece now that I want to hear it again.   Any suggestions on how to find it would be appreciated.  If I hear/ find the right song I will BUY it.  :>-)

From your description, it could be any of a few hundred of the things Schubert wrote. To start to narrow it down, please let me know:

what instruments are playing?  Piano? String Quartet? Strings and piano?  Full orchestra?  Is there singing involved?

That might narrow it down a bit, so you at least might go hunting for it.
